Bangkok and Chiang Mai are the only real towns masking a number of districts (often known as Khet for Bangkok and Amphoe to the provinces), and the sole two cities which has a population of around a million. Though Pattaya is often a "self-governing district" (Positioned inside, although not part of Bang Lamung district), it's got grown into all ne
